Privacy Policy

We're not an ad or ad-tech company. We sell a service to people who sign up specifically for the service.

We don't collect or handle and don't want to collect or handle any private information except that which is required to:

  1. Deliver our website, service, and phone apps
  2. Improve our website, service, and phone apps
  3. Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and other forms of bad behavior

For the GDPR, these uses fall under the categories of "necessary for the performance of the contract" (delivery), "legitimate interest" (improvements, fraud and abuse), and "necessary for compliance with a legal obligation" (delivery, fraud and abuse). The data we collect for these purposes will always remain in-house. We do not want to collect anybody's private data, and the data we must collect to accomplish the goals described above we do not and will not share with third parties except as required by law.

Our raw website logs get deleted at least yearly. Summaries of logs and other derived information (things like "this account was fradulent") may get saved longer than that.

We may have analytics cookies from third parties which have their own privacy policy.

You can delete your user account at any time, but you only actually have an account with us if you ever gave us money. Otherwise, your account lives solely on your phone — delete the app and it's gone like it never existed. For deleted accounts that gave us money, we will keep data around as long as taxes require us to.

We'll only send you email if you signed up for it. We hate spam even more than you do.

As the Triple Pat service improves and matures, this privacy policy will as well (for example it will get written by a lawyer). No matter how it evolves, it is our intent to maintain a good and strong privacy stance. Our customers are not our product, and their trust in us is golden.

If you have any questions, email privacy@triplepat.com.
